About the event
Ladies as I was thinking of Black History Month (when I first posted this), I did some research on how African American travelers made a difference in the travel industry. I came across some interesting articles --> 5 African American Pioneers Who Changed Travel https://navan.com/blog/black-history-month-pioneers-changed-travel Before the Green Book, These Resorts Offered Hidden Safe Havens for Black Americans https://www.history.com/news/green-book-black-travel-resorts-jim-crow
Ladies, I would love to represent these pioneers in the two articles above at the parade because they gave a sense of freedom during their struggle in this country in the early 20th century and contributed their travel business ideas to service African Americans to be able to enjoy their lives and vacations. Today, African Americans can enjoy all the resorts and destinations of the country and beyond thanks to so many civil rights activists paving the way. One of the Parade themes this year is True Identity=True Freedom.
So, I am…
