Grand Canyon Exploration 4 Day/3 Night

Hi Ladies! This has been on my bucket list! THE GRAND CANYON!!!!

Located in Arizona, Grand Canyon National Park encompasses 277 miles (446 km) of the Colorado River and adjacent uplands. The park is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon; a mile (1.6 km) deep, and up to 18 miles (29 km) wide. Layered bands of colorful rock reveal millions of years of geologic history. Grand Canyon is unmatched in the vistas it offers visitors from the rim. 

Long Weekend Itinerary

Thursday - Meet & Greet at Check-In @ 3:00pm-4:00pm

                       Gather for Dinner (TBD) @ 6:00pm

                       Bed time because Canyon Tours leave Bright and Early

Friday - Grand Canyon Tour (There are so many that the group will decide) $78-$199 

                 Small group tours (costly)

                 Bus tours (reasonable)

                 Visit Grand Canyon Historic Village                         

Saturday - Mule Ride @ Grand Canyon $155.77 or Railway Express Train Tour $65 or

                       Hiking on the Bright Angel Trail

                       Gather for Dinner (TBD) @ 7:00pm

Sunday - Gather for a Quick Bite to Eat 6am-9 am 

                    Check out by 11 am or whenever you need to leave for your plane

Hotel Accomodations

*Due to the all day events, I chose not to do a lavish setting but a convient location because we will barely be in the hotel. Money would be more well spent in enjoying the experiences at the Grand Canyon. 

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Canyon (3 star Hotel but yet 4.1/5 Star Reviews)

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Grand Canyon located just a mile from the South Rim entrance which is open all year round. According to their website they are also near a number of tour agencies, offering airplane, helicopter, jeep, horseback riding and rafting excursions. Within walking distance are several full service and fast food dining options. After touring the canyon and enjoying the world-famous sunsets, unwind with a swim in the indoor pool and whirlpool.
